YFM Equity Partners makes landmark investment in global advertising production consultancy MurphyCobb & Associates

YFM Equity Partners (YFM) has made a major investment in MurphyCobb & Associates (MCA), the global advertising production consultancy known for helping the world’s biggest brands transform their marketing production operations with strategic insight, operational excellence, and cutting-edge technologies.
This landmark backing represents the most significant growth capital investment in the production consulting space in recent years — a powerful vote of confidence in MCA’s global impact, innovative platform, and strong growth trajectory.
Headquartered in London and operating across 38 countries, MCA partners with global names like Reckitt, Mars, Coty, and Toyota to streamline complex production ecosystems, maximise clients’ investments & significantly reduce carbon emissions. Its proprietary tech platform, ‘Control Room’, is used by marketing leaders to drive data-led decisions and deliver measurable efficiencies at scale.
The investment comes at a pivotal time for MCA, following two years of exceptional growth and a marked shift in its operating model — from tactical consultancy to long-term strategic partnership. The business has seen a sharp rise in retainer relationships and soaring demand for its expertise in areas like AI adoption, sustainability, and intelligent tech integration.
This investment follows the recent announcement of Simon Sikorski joining MCA as President for North America and comes with experience as President of Global Operations at XR Extreme Reach and Global CEO, Craft Worldwide at IPG. Additionally, Sophie Daranyi, ex-CEO of Haygarth, joins the business as Non-exec Chair.
Pat Murphy, CEO of MCA, said:
“This is a transformational moment for our business. Clients are under huge pressure to deliver more, across more channels, in less time and with lower emissions. Our ability to deliver real strategic value through data, technology and hands-on production expertise is what sets us apart. Our team are obsessed with ensuring our clients are delivering the most impactful creative advertising and sourcing it in the smartest way possible. With YFM’s backing, we now have the firepower to scale globally, deepen our tech offer, and lead the way in sustainable marketing production.”
Adam Hart, Partner at YFM Equity Partners, added:
“MCA is a business with rare global reach, deep sector insight and a proven model that’s reshaping how major brands think about production. Pat and his team have built something truly special, and we’re thrilled to support their next phase of ambitious growth.”
